Sandell
Sandell needs no introduction.
When his meteor crashed to Earth and his naked little body was found by two farmers, they took him in and he became the Superhero we all know and love.
Recently, Director Sandell was starstruck when he met a real life Clown. It’s the first time we’ve had to issue someone with a cattle prod to keep him at bay.
Rumour has it Sandell has a few friends on something called social media? We’re yet to be convinced…..

Binnsy
A Director of the GNWTS, Kieran is tasked with keeping you lot entertained, safe and skint. He also looks after the technical stuff.
He is also the famous truck show Auctioneer!
A HGV driver from the age of 21 – Kieran now works in Health and Safety, and holds a qualification in Event Management.

Lance
At a good 6ft 4in, Lance isn’t one to miss. Naturally a man of this altitude is into his Rugby, and an avid fan of Sale Sharks.
Another Director, Lance brings HTF Transport to the table as a show sponsor, and over the years they have upgraded aspects of the shows entertainment with the big screen and PA, and the HIAB Challenge, amongst many other things. Lance makes things happen, and is also the mastermind of the show plan.
Lance runs HTF with his dad, Dave, and they can often be seen together on the show ground like a true father and son team.

Dave Whitehead
Instigator of the Rascal Road Trip of 2022. Dave’s constant unpredictability keeps everyone on their toes most of the time – the Rascal being a fine example.
Dave is around more tractors than trucks, and WDF are masters of road planings as well as demolition. Dave is actually only 21, but he once endured a week in the Rascal with Sandell from Land’s End to John O Groats…that’s enough to change any man….

Swittas Lion
Swittas Lion is the Pride of the Team…. see what I did there? our Swittas Lion is the symbol of the show.
Last seen being chased across Haydock Racecourse by Graham Poole’s bear of a dog ‘Tyson’ …..

Graham Poole
Graham has been a show sponsor, and huge supporter of the show from the outset. Having a fleet of vehicles under his name, they are a frequent sight in Rochdale where Graham continues to express his infinite generosity.
Graham has a top shelf of impressive vehicles dedicated to good causes such as ‘The Great War’, ‘The Battle Of Hastings’ and the ever popular ‘All For Kelly’, but the Jewel in the crown has to be his beloved ‘Fistful Of Dollars’ themed Western Star.
In 2024 Graham decided to pursue his dream of Truck Racing and we wish him every success!
YOU!
We’ve said it before, we’ll say it again.
Without you, we would be just a bunch of folk in a car park…that’s the truth.
This show has always been put together by drivers, FOR drivers.
All we ask of you, is to return year on year, and continue to help make our truck show the biggest charity truck show in the country!
